Narcotic Detection Canine Service

We believe that by selecting canines with a drive to please, eagerness to work, keen sense of smell, intelligence and temperament, we can provide an effective resource to successfully conduct contraband detection inspections. RMDI’s narcotic detection dogs are single-purpose and trained to detect only narcotic substances. Our canines are trained under US Department of Homeland Security standards using real drugs, not artificial scents. Our dogs are trained to give a ‘passive-alert’ signal upon the detection of a suspicious material and will assume an immediate “sit position” adjacent to a suspected narcotic substance.

The following illicit substances can be detected by RMDI’s Narcotic Detection K-9 Teams:

  • Cocaine
  • Crack
  • Heroin
  • Methamphetamines/MDM
  • Ecstasy/MDMA
  • Marijuana
  • Opiates

RMDI’s Narcotic Detection K-9 Teams are well trained, cost effective and incredibly reliable. Services can be deployed on behalf of individuals, corporate initiatives, institutional surveillance, site inspections, major event management or in support of authorized Law Enforcement Operations.
