Michael D. Kotler, M.D. trained at the University of Miami and began his career in Emergency Medicine in South Florida. In 1991, he moved to Louisiana as the Regional Medical Director for InPhyNet Medical Management for the Southeast United States. In 2000, he decided to venture out on his own and founded Pelican State Outpatient Center, a new concept in healthcare delivery. Today Pelican sees over 20,000 patients a year for both Occupational Medicine and Urgent Care, and has repeatedly been recognized for its excellence.Dr. Kotler’s expertise in handling occupational medicine cases gained him a distinguished reputation within his field and his clients started turning to him for offshore illness and injury consults. Dr. Kotler established RemoteMD to deliver a variety of medical services to industrial remote environments worldwide including 24/7/365 Medical Control, Telemedicine, Paramedics, Corporate Medical Direction and Advanced Education & Training for Paramedics working in the remote environment. He currently provides these services to a number of multinational companies including Noble Drilling, Helix ESG, Archer Daniels Midland, and Union Pacific Railroad.In addition to providing medical care, Dr. Kotler serves on teaching faculty at LSU School of Medicine in New Orleans and serves as the Program Director for OccuMedics, a course he developed to train Industrial Remote Environment Medical Specialists (IREMS).Furthermore, he serves as Medical Director for Plaquemines Medical Center in Port Sulphur, LA and has been instrumental in bringing quality healthcare to Plaquemines Parish.

Kelly received a Bachelors of Science degree in Marketing from the University of New Orleans.  She joined the team in 2010 and has been an integral part of its success. Kelly currently serves as Chief Administrative Officer and continues to provide leadership and oversight to the development and growth of new and existing business relationships as well as key marketing initiatives.

Terry is responsible for the growth and marketing initiatives of the division and leads the sales team to expand the company’s client base and activities. She is based in Houston, Texas where the company has an established presence. With 20 years in the Oil & Gas industry, Terry has served as a business development manager and various positions in training and organizational development. Terry holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Texas Wesleyan University in Fort Worth, Texas and is a member of IADC and GCSTG.

Brian Regan

Brian began his EMS career in 1987 as a street paramedic and obtained his EMS Instructor Certification in 1989. Throughout his 25 years in EMS, Brian has worked as a Street Paramedic, Remote Paramedic/HSE Officer, EMS Instructor, EMS Clinical Coordinator, EMS Training Supervisor, and EMS Program Director. He has taught all levels of EMS Training at the collegiate level and private industry including the Oil and Gas community. As well, Brian has served as an instructor for numerous safety classes within the Oil and Gas industry. Brian holds instructor certifications from American Heart Association, LA Bureau of EMS, NREMT Program Director, and ASHI.

Frank joined RemoteMD in 2012 as a partner and divisional President of RMD Technology. A native of New Orleans, Frank attended the University of New Orleans and Delgado College. He also holds a business degree from Babson College which was earned in a special course developed and sponsored by Warren Buffett and Goldman Sachs. During this course Frank had the opportunity to consult with Warren Buffett of Berkshire Hathaway and Lloyd Blankfein of Goldman Sachs, gaining valuable insight from two of the top business/financial icons in America as well as others in their respective organizations. Frank’s experience in developing technology allows RemoteMD to set the standard for medical technology. He brings years of business experience from his long career as an entrepreneur and has started and managed several private companies including Brightway Service, Inc., America Sign Maintenance Co. Zilla Investments, 57 Romeo Ltd. and S-One Gaming. Each of these companies were or are involved in developing cutting edge electronic technology. He currently, in addition to his position at RemoteMD, holds the position of President and CEO of Brightway Service, Inc. an electrical and electronic sign manufacturing company in Louisiana.
